President Trump, his Cabinet and his Administration have had great success creating good jobs in America. Better international trade agreements are bringing jobs, especially manufacturing jobs, back to America. Unemployment was at all-time record lows. Salaries and wages have been rising. Before the world was hit by the coronavirus pandemic, the US economy was the strongest it has ever been.
We are conquering the virus, and, as President Trump has often said, “The best is yet to come”. The stock market, which is a barometer of future expectations, has recently been at or near all-time highs. 2021 will be a banner year.
Many factors contribute to America’s ability to grow, prosper and rebound so successfully. One major factor is having leaders like President Trump and his leadership team who come to public service with real-life experience. They know how to stimulate and liberate the American economy.
This morning, a friend sent me the following statistics about the percentage of each past president’s cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. He added, “You know what the private business sector is: A real-life business not a government job.”
Here are the percentages:
38% T. Roosevelt
40% Taft
52% Wilson
49% Harding
48% Coolidge
42% Hoover
50% F. D. Roosevelt
50% Truman
57% Eisenhower
30% Kennedy
47% Johnson
53% Nixon
42% Ford
32% Carter
56% Reagan
51% GH Bush
39% Clinton
55% GW Bush
8% Obama
90% Trump
With leadership like we have in the Trump Administration it is no wonder we have done so well during his first term and can expect to do it all over again in during the next four years.
Keep America Great!
